October 11, 200619 yr Bleh. The characters on the right actually is "Cad" in traditional chinese. Makes a pretty good pop-out aswell. That is, if I were to re-do it. The blur just smears across the canvas line. :(
October 11, 200619 yr Author nice but u can make chinese words bigger Yeah... But why? A blank space doesn't need to be used.
October 11, 200619 yr i think taht the sig iss small...and think that it will be better if they r bigger or more that chinese words... but its good Lovely ^^

October 11, 200619 yr Thats looks awesome! I love the pop-out one too but its a little smudgy... October 11, 200619 yr Author Thats looks awesome! I love the pop-out one too but its a little smudgy... What the other guy said you could make the text a 'lil bigger 'nuff said  I've explained why it looks "a little smudgy". The canvas wasn't big enough so it just stopped when it hit the edge. Why should I make the text bigger? Just because there is a black space doesn't mean I have to fill it with something. A "what he said" post is a cheap way to post. Atleast give some of your own input.
October 11, 200619 yr I'm sorry, it just isnt as good as your other stuff. :? The girl is just to... smudged/blended. I am certainly not a expert (Heck, I am quite bad ) at PS, so I don't know whats wrong. The colors are... eww also. "We'll bring the sexy back to judging >_>." --Nadril Bleh, once I get off my lazy bum and go to Imageshack, there will be a picture here.

I'm not a big fan of the seemingly hue'd look to it (it's all pretty much the same color red), and it's somewhat "plain". The character as well is a bit too smuged and blury for my tastes. Overall I think you do have better ones, this one i'm just not a fan of. And, if it means anything, I agree with the text placement and size.

The blur just smears across the canvas line. :( I absolutely adore this signiture. The white just infront of the ninja gives a heroic feel to it. The text is fine, I really like it. The only thing I would do to the text would be to centre it hight-wise. I'd love to be able to crack a sig like that. A very well done. -Mitch New sig to come!
October 11, 200619 yr I love people who don't have a clue. I agree with that  I think it looks good though, mabye it could use a little less blur though (it hurts my eyes :XD:), and i think the chinese letters are fine how they are ---------------- Some guy gave me a free santa hat ----------------- -------------------------- And an easter egg! ----------------------------
October 12, 200619 yr I really like the idea and everything but here's my two cents worth (1.1 pence for you funny people across the pond )*mutter*Stupid higher-valued British currency *mutter* Now I'm sorry if I don't understand the whole "blurred across the canvas line" thing because I've never even tried these kind of sigs before, but it seems a bit too blurred to me. I especially notice it on the to between her right (our left) arm and her head. Is that blurred hair or something? I like the whole kinda frosted look to the BG but I feel the reds blend in a bit too much to the reds and oranges of her outfit. The text catches the eye a bit too much IMHO. When I look at the sig I see past the render and straight to the text which, not knowing any pictographic languages, I don't have the slightest inkling to it's meaning (I know it means Cad but only because you stated it). I think maybe a softer pink color or grey instead of the white would do the text good. Don't get me wrong, I really like this sig and I think it could be one of your better ones. Remember, I'm a complete n00b at these sigs so you can take my opinion as that of a crazed lunatic holding the cardboard sign on the edge of the road saying: "The world has already ended, you're just in denial." Off-topic: *points to Cad's sig* My birthday is on the 4th

Overall I think you do have better ones, this one i'm just not a fan of. And, if it means anything, I agree with the text placement and size. Yeah, for this piece I used some new experimental brushes. Rather than normal brushes they're quite grainy and sandy. I used them because it had a feeling of paper, thus calligraphy and thus the chinese characters. It does look a very flat colour, but I can assure you it is varied. I shall make it more varied. ;) Now I'm sorry if I don't understand the whole "blurred across the canvas line" thing because I've never even tried these kind of sigs before, but it seems a bit too blurred to me. I especially notice it on the to between her right (our left) arm and her head. Is that blurred hair or something? What I mean is that I blurred it with a canvas that wasn't big enough. Since nothing past the outside of the canvas is shown, PS chops it off to save virtual memory, then when I made the canvas bigger to show the whole render - the blur doesn't extend with it. (If that made sense, whoo. Otherwise, i'll post some pictures to help explain.) I like the whole kinda frosted look to the BG but I feel the reds blend in a bit too much to the reds and oranges of her outfit. The whole point was to blend the render a lot, get the feeling of a ninja in the shadows (not that she'd be too good with reds and purples ;P). I mainly used purple because it is in her outfit. I had already used reds for the brushing etc. so I wanted a differential colour. But it may just be you aren't accustomed to seeing chinese characters and thus are fascinated by it. But I will try what you recommended and put the opacity down slightly and tint the colour more towards red. Off-topic: *points to Cad's sig* My birthday is on the 4th OHSNAP. If you're one day older than me... I absolutely adore this signiture. The white just infront of the ninja gives a heroic feel to it. The text is fine, I really like it. The only thing I would do to the text would be to centre it height-wise. I'd love to be able to crack a sig like that. A very well done. I can see why, it's usually quite common to centre it height-wise. But I wanted it to be more-or-less the same height as the render. However, I can try that aswell. I'm sorry, it just isnt as good as your other stuff. Confused The girl is just to... smudged/blended. I am certainly not a expert (Heck, I am quite bad ) at PS, so I don't know whats wrong. The colors are... eww also. The whole point is to blend the render. :-s Using the colours from the render just adds to it, why is it "eww"? After taking the CC of the quoted posts: - I think the text colour-wise looks easier on the eyes, i'm not so drawn to them as before. Thanks for that imhomer :). - The colour is more varied and no longer looks flat. Darker colours flow slightly easier into the darkness and create a nicer gradient. Thanks for that Nadril. ;) - In my opinion the text looked a bit better when it was just below centre. Does anyone think it looks better? Thanks anyway, Ape. :) Sorry to those whose CC I could not change. Blurring is... well, pretty much impossible to undo to a certain extent. However, I may do a remake with less blur and make it a pop-out. Thanks to all who have posted. It's really helped. :)
October 12, 200619 yr Off-topic: *points to Cad's sig* My birthday is on the 4th OHSNAP. If you're one day older than me... One day younger. And the trail off? :-s Anyways your new version looks really good. I feel my eyes trailing to the lightest area in the center of the sig just to the right of the render instead of the words. Personally I liked the words a bit off center but aside from that it looks great.
