Peter Posted October 13, 2006 Share Posted October 13, 2006 Nah, it's not another crappy band thread. Found this the other day and thought it was pretty dang cool. Basically you select a couple of songs from your library that you want a playlist based around, then click the magic button (it tells you how to do it), and then a playlist is created based on those songs. http://www.thefilter.com/ Works with iTunes and it supposedly "learns" your style and won't add songs you frequently skip, etc. It's pretty accurate based on the playing around I did with it, and it's always cool to have a playlist for the various things I do that fits the mood of a few songs. I've stopped using iTunes after the 7th version came out: it was way too heavy and buggy for me.
