Any Help/Advice for a new member?

Featured Replies

Any important or non-important tips or info will be greatly appreciated. Need to get introduced to the new towns, mining spots, fishing spots, quests, skills, etc.

Thanks

Seers is a must. Ardougne is a good place to thieve. Coal is west of Seers bank. Many quests to do. You have loads of new armour, dragon - 60 defence. Barrows - 70 defence. Some awesome mini-games, C Wars, Pest Control, Barrows. Hope you have fun as P2P!

Hmm...Lost City would be useful to do for the option to wield Dragon Longswords and Dragon Daggers at 60 Attack, and Catherby is apparently "the" place to fish at. Welcome to Members. :)

Thanks. Are there any quests in particular that are easy and that I can get out of the way first?

it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.

The best way to safeguard your assets is to read up on.. luring..

It's now practically the most common way of scam around p2p so you want to read up and see how you can avoid these situations.

Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

He means he is a new P2P player. You lucky member you, go get some cash! Shouldn't you do Drudic Ritual? After doing that quest you can start Herblaw. And do the Fishing Contest.

Thanks. I finished both of those quests. Are there any others that are crutial or save a lot of time on other tasks?

Do tears of guthix quest as soon as possible.

It literally takes 2 minutes and the minigame it unlocks is great.

Read every thread about scamming, because theres so many ones just for members (selling common items rarely especially, and edge lures.)

Basically if someone says to you buying hollow reed 50mil and someone says selling hollow reed 2mil, don't buy it, listen to your common sense.

Just price check everything before buying it.

Skills are all fun, (even farming), i suggest raising fletch and agility as the most useful ones though.

I'd suggest doing plague city quest quite soon to unlock the ardy tele, also watchtower, grand tree, tree gnome village all unlock useful ways to get around.

89/99 farming
