I prefer Throwing Knives personally, they're better and look cooler. I know that using or making darts has something to do with the Tourist Trap quest.

Throwing knives hit harder so I would say knives are way better then darts. They fire at the same speed I believe. Only downside is that you can only make 5 knives per bar but when you make darts you can make 10. Darts require feathers though.

knives are better imo because they dont require feathers

When I tried them both, I preffered the darts, although getting feathers can be a bit annoying.

i thort knives with rapid selected was the fastest in the game?

arnt darts set on rapid faster then throwing knives?

I think they both have same speed

Darts have an excellent rate of fire. Combining a dart with poison can inflict further quick and lethal damage to an opponent. Obtaining Darts is much easier than knives as you get more darts 'per bar' when smithing.

 

 

 

Knives have an excellent rate of fire. Combining a knife with poison allows you to inflict further lethal and quick damage to an opponent. Whilst you do not get as many knives as darts when smithing, knives have a slightly increased attack range, and are stronger.
