the thing under his chin is a decorative cover, covering where all the different metal comes together for the armor. Covering up the rough edges! :D

thats wut i thought it was at first. . .but then i wasn't sure. .

2nd like the stars and the shading is done well, character also fits in well with his surrundings.

wow...i fell pretty bad rigth know lol... ok so what is so wrong with number 1?

try to capture more of a natural stance, they appear off balance, that will help alot! :D

While number 1 seems to have followed a bit more directions, number 2 looks cooler. It's a tough one as they are quite different styles and number 1 isn't too bad compared to most pixel sigs I see around. If anything I think both sigs would look much better if they had a border. I guess my final word is sig number 2. Good luck to both contestants. :)

2, even though i dont like the shading of it. The guy looks familiar too :shock:

i had a 1pxl black border around mine, I didnt want to take to much away from the contents of the sig. :)

Actually, a very small border or no border makes the sig seem absorbed by the forum around it, making it seem less pleasing to the eye. A nice solid frame around a sig makes it stand strong on the forum, trust me. Never hurts to try. :)
