Need a lot of advice - especially merchanters

Featured Replies

So, after about a year long break of RS, I'm back and looking to merchant again.

My previous accounts were banned (don't ask why =p) but a friend lent me 2mil to get me off my feet.

I used to merchant rune ess mostly - does anyone still do it/ is it still effective?

Also - does anyone know if the magic shop in the members place that sells all the runes (forgot the name) has the same prices and everything? I used to go there and just stock up on runes and then sell em in bulk.

Thanks

I think alot of ppl still merch with pure ess, the modification to it made an impact on the market for only like 2 days.

Which rune shop are you talking about? Like, where was it?

The one's that i know and are good are:

- Zammy mage in edge wild, at the river end. he sells normal runes and chaos, deaths and bloods.

- Void knights outpost at pest control, sells normal runes and chaos and deaths. you can buy the whole stock from here.

Might you be thinking about the magic guild? I think I remember reading about that..

Ohhh! yeah I meant the magic guild - that's where I went to buy runes.

And could someone explain what exactly the rune ess modification was? I quit before it happened

As you must have known, macroers were a huge problem in ess trading since there were tons of them mining and mining and mining and mining...

well jagex made pure ess to prevent that and now pure ess is 100ea or so and normal ess is 25ea. with pure we can make nats etc and with normal just elementals, minds and bodies.

Now jagex decided to make pure ess mineable only if you're member and you have 35 mining and rcing or something like that. as alot of macroers don't get p2p it cut down the amount of pure ess in the market for some time.

Hrm thanks for ths advice guys

Last thing -where is this pest control rune shop place?

It's at the island for the mini-game Pest Control.

To get there, go to Port Sarim, go to the south docks and talk to the squire. Ask to go to his outpost.
