pompey_spud Posted October 20, 2006 Share Posted October 20, 2006 well ive downloaded a font, extracted the font file and moved it to the windows--> font folder but its not appearing in my word font list etc... how can i get it to appear? do i have to restart or something? It has a different name from the filename. When you install a font it takes on its proper "fontname" and in some cases people don't name the filename correctly. You shouldn't need to, but it's worth a try. Also re-check your *:\Windows\Fonts folder to make sure it's there under the name "The Godfather (TrueType)". Notoriously Trollish.
