In otherwords, don't just hang around hoping to be inducted A.S.A.P One of the current Acolytes waited a year to be inducted. Some get inducted within a week, but that is less common nowadays. Those just in it to say "I'm in the OoC" are generally the ones who don't hang around as much, don't put as much effort in and deservedly don't get inducted. Put being inducted to the back of your mind. Be there for the freinds, tight community where everybody knows everyone else, the laughs, the fun, the messing around and of course, the cabbage. When your induction comes, it will be a nice suprise. Oh and Its nice to see Blipo back. Sorry I didn't make it to this event, but retirement from RS leads to a very busy schedule in real life suprisingly  Retired from Runescape and the OoC.
