inureface
I have 2 crystal bows, one is a seed, the other one is freshly rechaged to full for 900k. What can I range to make as little loss as possible since my buffer is only about 200k? I tried green dragons and it worked ok for the first bow but now bones are only 2k ea and everything is dropping in price. Also is the cost of recharge tied to the seed or to the person. I don't relaly want to get both bows down from 900-720-540-360-180. If I recharge one seed, say for 720k, then I recharge the other seed, will it also be 720k or will it go down to 540k? Thanks! BTW my ranged lvl is 72 almost 73 All PKers need to read this
Sweetncold22
I'm not sure if there is anyway not to just 'blow' money using a 'crystal' bow. To me it's more of a status symbol and yea some will argue it has it's advantages, but the cost is prohibitive, so I only use mine to range high lvl targets. . What I will say in it's favor is not only is it cool looking it's great not having to retrieve arrows. Which comes in handy when fighting say, "Fire giants." I do have one question: Why do you have two c bows? Maybe you should consider selling the fully charge one and just keeping one. (Unless there's some advantage to having two. I personally wouldn't want to lock up a bank space for just a seed.) Ta
hellbellz
Trying for drops, or for Ranged XP?
Aresgodowar
the recharges are tied to the person also i believe that you could shoot your bow once and then recharge it to reduce the cost without spending millions. just a thought havnt tried b/c i dont have the range and i dont use the shield that much Americans love to fight. All real Americans love the sting of battle. George S. Patton
inureface
I have the 2 bows because I'll need them for the fight caves. I want to find some monster that has some consistent drops that can cover all or most of the initial 900k I put in. After I get both bows down to 180k, I'll mostly be using them for whatever I feel like, replacing my MSB because the crystal bow hits more often, higher, and has longer range. Sweetncold22
You're right, I hadn't thought of having 'em both available to use. Got to say though I think tying up that much money x's 2 seems kinda expensive .... especially if you consider the return rate... I'm looking forward too seeing if anyone comes up with a good "demon" to fight who offers a good/great return ratio.
Juanflores
i use my c bow on blue drags i make a profit and lots of pray exp doing it that way i think i hal'fed the overall cost of the that 2.52 recharge process ranging those lovely blue dragons =p D bones 2k-2.1k blue hides 1.8k-2.2k that and lots of lv 3 clues *i got 4 in one day XD* and other nice drops but having only 200k is going to make using a c bow kinda of a bad idea though =/ barrows drops-my first ahrims top

You only have to pay the higher charges once until you get down to 180k ... not every bow individually. This counts for the shield too. Being tied to the person means that you only have to pay those high charges once not several times if you have more than one crystal item. And I agree ... blue dragons are a great way to make that bow pay for itself. Just be careful, since you can't wear a antifire shield at the same time...... the ogre cave has several very nice safe spots. I will get that little Phoenix chick!!!!! meb
I got from 70 to 76 ranging on crystal bows, and I got my first 2 or three levels on blue dragons. Their hides are decent cash and lvl 3 clues are always nice. Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.
