I recieved a fair bit of positive feed back on the original on a thread of mine, so I decided to play about with it. It might not have been a good idea but I did some filters and tried adding a border (which, looking at it now seems a bit dodgey) after reading a tutorial in my magazine on how to do it. I blurred the whole image except the tree - trying to make it stand out more. Then added some appropriate text. I've not been very good at manipulations but I try so here's my attempt at another:

Overall, its a nice manip :wink:

Thats an alright manip, but i dont like how blurry you made the rest of the picture. Also overall it seems a bit to grey and could do with a little touching up of the contrast. I am bored and made one.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

personally i would add Variations to it...maybe more of a yellow-ish appearence

As a general bit of advice, generaly all you need to do is adjust a picture a bit. A good picture doesn't need much to improve it, and it is easy to "mess one up".

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Personaly, you blured the ground way too much in the manip. I see the idea but it is overdone.
