pokemama Posted October 29, 2006 Share Posted October 29, 2006 sometimes you get unlucky on the "clock tick" and the effect disappears right away - it's happened to me often enough :(. I usually carry two or more for that reason. If you are p2p, look into the Trouble Brewing minigame (there's a tip.it guide), where you can earn money to buy "the stuff". Adding the "stuff" while brewing Hammerstone Hops has a 50% chance of making "mature" stout, which raises your mining by 2 temporarily instead of 1. See our cooking guide for info on brewing, etc. it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*. Once you drink it, it take about 10-50sec to wear off... While that you can mine. JeremyM Posted November 2, 2006 Share Posted November 2, 2006 im 84 mining... stout isnt too bad al i bring is my pick axe, 8 stouts and rest space lobs... yes, sumtimes stout will last 5 seconds.. but other times it'll last 2 mins. (note that when u log off and switch worlds the potion will be in effect still) P.S. Unless they've changed it in the last month :? If it helps, I average about 1.75-2.5 ores per stout. Fear the frog reaper.
