I don't mean to be rude but can people who ACTUALLY rather have done this or who actually have a dragon chain please give insight.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Okay, so even today, after the prices have dropped enormously, Dragon Chain is still a just about 4 mill out of my price range. So, instead of spending months merching, I was wondering something. I read on the rs forums about this guy who got d-chain at Dust Devils after only 100ish kills. Now I know this guy was REALLY lucky, but I was wondering, how many Dust Devils does it take to get a D Chain? Even if it were in the couple thousands, I'd say it was probably worth it. Also, while yes i realize I need to get slayer up to 65 (currently 57) I was wondering what I should bring if I decided to go this route.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also, if anybody knows, what are the chances of Dragon Chain drop from KQ?

All I know is that you may have to kill thousands of dust devils to get it. Even then you might not. I'm not sure what the chance is of getting the chain from kq, but I'm sure you've got a better chance with her than the dust devils.

I read somewhere where a drop is like 1 in 10k kills

At KQ, it's like 1/250.

 

 

 

At DD, it's like 1/16000.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Just buy guthans if you can't afford a chain, or you will be really disappointed once you get one.

ive heard the chances are about 1-22,000 but ive killed about 9k myself and havnt got a chain :( well actually thats a guess but i trained from 91-101 combat on them so its around the 7-10k range

I wouldn't dedicate all your time to owning a d chain. Seriously don't buy one, if you're gonna get one at all, do as my friends did: train range at dust devils till you get a chain, then sell it. You've gained a load of money and range levels. There's seriously no point in getting a chain just to make yourself look good.

Thanks you guys, I have 78k iron arrows on me, so I wa weighing the choices of going to Dust Devils or going to Fire Giants or maybe even going to Blue dragons.

And once you do get the chain, sell it

ditch the d chain as soon as you get it. i remember when whip prices dropped from 2.6 to 1.9 in less than a week
