November 5, 200619 yr Author Level 40 Construction I finally decided to drop the whole 30-construction-with-only-genies bit and train it. So, I took out ~500 planks (made by myself) and got a few levels. Currenty I'm back at barrows for the next couple days so I can spend a few mil on it next week. November 6, 200619 yr Author One of the little goals that I have is to be getting 1750 total level at 100 combat. After I get 75-80 construction that'd be a big chunk of the levels left out of the way. So, after I get a few more milllion under my belt I'll start skilling. Crafting, smithing, mining, magic you name it. I'll train it. :thumbsup:
November 9, 200619 yr Author Supplies Today I decided to go and buy the materials needed for getting to 99 fletching. I loaded up on yews, strings, my MTK Coffers... I dawned my Partyhat and started. A, seemingly, very long hour or so later I finished with this for day 1. I put 3,500k into the coffer at MTK because I belive that is about how long it'll take me to finish off level 99. I put 100% on Maples and 50% on Flax. I'm planning on burning the (est.) 26k maples which will get me to level 87 firemaking. I'll sell the flax and some of the seeds to recover my 'losses' and I'll re-enter the money. I haven't decided if I'll buy the natures to alch them or make them myself yet, but I'm sure I'll figure it out soon eough... FYI: I've sold my guthans, whip and whatnot so I can do this goal (which means limited, if any barrows). I did finish with having 18.5m cash before buying and spending it away... November 13, 200619 yr Author Level 96 Fletching 10 Million Experience Level 71 Firemaking This was from the past 2 days. As I'm writing this I'm 30k from level 97 fletching, but I figured I shoul make a seperate post of these things. I met quite a few interesting people in the Edge bank today. Had some nasty spirited talks with some 'RC' pkers, met a couple 'strnug-out' mods that seemed very glad to be done with stringing and were back cutting up them logs. Raised my first cat too. Working on #2 atm as well. I'm thinking of alternating white ---> black cats and see how many I can raise. I also did a little window shoopping as I hit the 2 hour cutting pangs. Until next hour... November 13, 200619 yr Author I haven't the slightest idear. Kent B. It's you! : Level 97 Fletching Knocked off another level... Getting to 1m experience until level 98 before I finish the night. That also mean only 7k logs to cut until I can string again! :mrgreen: Cutting has been pretty boring, but it has also been kind of relaxing. I've been able to catch up on some homework from my sick days, and I've also had some pretty good conversations. When I'm done with the cutting I'll start to make the decend into chat seclusion so I can get that 250k+ experience an hour back. I've also been checking my MTK daily. I'll pst a seed count when I get 99 fletching. I'll try and get 99 by Wednesday night because on Thursday I leave for a 5 day Marine Biology workshop up island. : Later! Jimmy
November 14, 200619 yr Author 11m Experience I didn't get near as much done today as I had planned. I was hoping to get close to 11.5m exp today, but because last night I was watching movies til quite early in the morning I slept until 1pm.. I have only 5k yew logs left to cut and I've so far strung 4k. Tomorrow I think I'll be able to finish off the logs and get ready for the little bit of stringing I'll be able to do on Wednesday. Getting 99 by Wednesday is out of the question as I now see it. Thursday, I've already said, I'll be leaving for a couple days. Although, since next Monday is a Non-instructional Day I may be able to get it then. I doubt that there will be a drop party or really much of a party at all. Hmm... fun. That reminds me, I've also bought 12.5k nats to alch with, although I'm thinking of selling 7k of them because it's only 4.9k alchs until I'm level 90 magic. Jimmy

November 17, 200619 yr Author I know a few of you tip.it'ers are from the Pacific North-west. That means I'm not the only one feeling the effects of a nasty storm that came our way yesterday. For those of you who aren't from BC or the Seattle area, here's the deal: Record Rains Drenches BC -ctv.ca- This cancels my trip this weekend as the road from Port Alberni to Bamfield has been completely washed out. Plus, even if it hadn't been completely rained out the predicted storm on Sunday would have finished it off and I'd have been stuck there. : It's not a big deal for me if we were stuck there, but I guess it's not on the top of the list for the rest of the group... We're planning to reschedule, but not until the spring. :wall: This means I'll be home for the next 4 days with nothign to do but... nothing? That nothing will be replaced by Runescape. I should be able to cap off 99 fletching if I do it right. I'm also going to try and start working on the last 10-15m needed to trade up to a Red Partyhat. :3> Jimmy

November 18, 200619 yr Author Time to String... Today I was ble to finish cutting up my yew logs. I'm over half-way done my goal and it is time for the fun to begin... strigning! :thumbsup: I know stringing isn't near the most popular thing to be doing in runescape, but I've always had a little thing for it. As you can see, I've strung a few already. Since I can string 3k/hour consistently, I only have 7-8 hours left to go until I get level 99 fletching. Depending how much time I'm willing to put into it tomorrow, I may be able to get level 98 and 99 this weekend! I'm really anxious to get another 99 under my belt... Later! Jimmy

November 22, 200619 yr Author Level 2 Hunting Level 1600 Total Level 30 Hunting Me and Lalala, seperated by a single experience point :mrgreen: Well, with the release of hunting today I decided to bench my fletching goal for a day or two so I can get a couple levels. Level 30 came quite fast. I leveld at the exact same time as Lalala7324 as we had a little race to which I showed some mercy and waited a few minutes to get the last bird. : I found trapping birds and alching to be a good combo which gt me from 10 or 15 to level 20 easily. Tomorrow, if I get on, I'll probably try and string a couple thousand bows before I get sidetracked. I'm also considering moving my goal of 1600 total (which you see I already got, to 1700 or 1800. :thumbsup: Looked at what I'd need to level and found either would be fairly easy. Later, Jimmy

Today I took it a little easy and went the the Swamp Lizards to get from levels 31-40 hunting. I didn't even get close to fletching today... Maybe I willl eventually finish this fletching goal that's been looming over my head for so very long. Tomorrow I don't have work, soccer or h/w so I should be able to get some tiem in fletching. I wouldn't mind getting level 98 tomorrow. Plus, seeing as how the partyhat prices have been dropping lately, when I sell the bows I should be VERY close to adding the cash to get a red. At most it'd be 1-3 days to get some more money so I can still have some money to play with after the hat trade-up. Later Jimmy
November 26, 200619 yr Author Level 98 Fletching I missed the picture... :oops: I finally was able to level after being only 200k experience away for over a week, I got it today. Thanks to those of you who sent up a message when I got it in Edge tonight. At the end of tonight I plan on being 15k stringings away from 99. Might get more done tonight but it depends how good the movie is... : I've also tossed a couple million in the coffers in Miscellania, I'm planning to check it around New Years although I've never been good at this patience thing. November 26, 200619 yr Author Thanks for the replies. : I'm not too sure if I'll have a big party this time. I think I do have some drops that I can shell out but if I do it'll be a ill prepared event in Edge. I'm considering dropping my infinity boots because I want to get full infinity + book + masters wand from the mage training arena and I don't want to have a head start or anything... Found out I'll need 2475 Telekinetic points, 2725 Alchemist points, 25500 Enchant points, and 2475 Graveyard points. Should be a fun little thing to do... Might get some more stringing done today, not expecting much though.
