i'm training my range from 53 to 60 (F2P)

 

 

 

does anybody know a good place to train without using food

You can use almost any location if you use the right technique.

 

 

 

Namely, pull the monster over to you using a Curse spell

 

 

 

and then shoot it from a safe spot.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I always liked using the Lesser's on the top of Crandor Island.

 

 

 

there are safe spots in the SE and North of the area.

 

 

 

I never needed any food and there was rarely any competition for the 2 spawns.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you used the Curse pulling trick then all of your arrows

 

 

 

will be in the loot pile when the Lesser dies.

 

 

 

Also, if you shoot them in a ping-pong style then you can kill both at once

 

 

 

and after they die, there is no danger if you want to wander around.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And, even though you said you didn't care, you will get the occasional Rune med.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Finally, if you pick up your arrows, it will take you

 

 

 

about 2400 bronze arrows to reach your goal

Atop Varrock Castle there are about 6-8 town guards, and a barricade behind which you can fire safely.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Drops aren't so great, but it's perfect for range training.

i would recomend the level 27 mintaurs at the end of the 1st level of the stronghold of security. They have high hits and drop tons of iron arrows so if you go in their with 500 youll never have to leave and might come out with even more.

I last went in with 500ish irons, came out 5 ranged levels higher and 1300ish irons. Safe spots, too.
