anybody watch HEROES...?

I think this show has done VERY well at filling in plot holes along the way. Whatever the repercussions of Hiro going back in time, they will be played out. I think he had to live out the last 6 months again for having gone back in time. He's going to learn how to use his skill and endure the consequences the hard way.

Last-night's episode filled a BUNCH of holes while only creating a few. I love the twist with Mohinder having "fly on the wall" dreams of the past. He'll get back in the groove and do something important...at least I hope he does.

I think that two teams of people have been researching the genetic code that enables these abilities. The brain-looting is how the bad guys are getting the information. I don't think the team behind HRG is bad though...spooky, but not brain-looters. I do think HRG really has been keeping Claire protected (in a noble way) all along. Hearing that she's the one to be saved kind of goes against his plans to keep her abilities a secret.

The show Hero's is ok. Although it's hard to decided between that and Two in a Half Men. I was confused during the last episode where the girl died at the diner.

That's why it rocks!!! Just when you think you've got more of it figured out...they toss in another cliffhanger. It keeps us coming back for more.

First commercial break is right now. Won't say anything till it's over, but I will point out one of the kids at the high school was wearing a Battlestar Galactica t-shirt (my second favourite show, Heroes is tied in third with a few).

EDIT: OK, the show has been over for a few minutes.

I thought this episode was really good. It could have been better though if there was more about Hiro. At least we know why future ninja Hiro came back and told Peter to save the cheerleader. He knew he wouldn't be there for that to happen. Peter is arrested right now, I think that will probably clear up pretty quickly by just having Claire come forward. As far as we know the catch-phase "Save the cheerleader, save the world" is now completed. It was a pretty cool tagline though, maybe they will work it into the next episodes.

Guest AshKaYu

I saw two episodes of it, the one where the girl wakes up SPOILERS during an autopsy and the first

Can anyone give be a brief description on the people and their powers? I've missed quite a bit :x

If you just watch the intros you will get caught up on the main parts of the story. Speaking of which, they are playing as I am typing. I'll sum up what I can after it is over.

But anyways, making spoilers a different color doesn't work. On the subBlack theme, they are brighter than the actual text.

OK, the mid-series finale just finished.

1. Eden died, to tell you the truth I'm not all that disappointed.

2. The unnamed Haitian talked to Claire and didn't mind swipe her, disobeying Mr. Bennett's orders.

3. Mr. Bennett took orders from someone on the phone, so he isn't the highest in the command chain.

4. Isaac can use his powers without drugs, that is a good step forward.

5. Mohinder is back in the states.

6. Hiro fights a dragon with a sword at some point in the future.

7. Biggest revelation of all, Peter is the one who blows up NYC.

A few loose ends were tied up. We still don't know exactly what the good guy/bad guy situation is with Mr. Bennett, his boss, and the Haitian. Sylar is pretty much the "bad guy", and the rest are the "good guys", those are pretty much set. While Peter may do something bad, I don't think they could change him into an actual bad guy like Sylar.

One last fun-fact that I just found out. You know that not everyone of the characters is in every episode. But who has been in the most? If you guessed Ando, you would be correct. Yep, Ando, Hiro's non-hero sidekick, has been in 13 episodes compared to the next at 9. Since episode 11 just ended, we can assume once it gets updated it should be 15 for Ando and 11 for the next closest. Just saw that while cruising IMDb and thought I would share it :D

I can't wait for January 22nd now!!!

I'm glad we're starting to see more character development for the Haitian guy.

Poor Peter though, he so desperately wants to save the world and then dreams that he's the bomb. Gah.

Oh well, we'll find out more in seven weeks.

Arggh, I hate how they do that with some shows, leave you all up in suspense and stuff.

OK, so, about the whole Eden thing... did Clare's father ASK her to kill him or did she do it on her own, not knowing that THAT would happen? Second of all, how the hell did Sylar break out of his glass box and steal Eden's power of persuasion without killing her and taking her brain out of her head?

We don't know if Mr. Bennett told Eden to do that or not. I don't think they said one way or another so that they can play it whichever way they need to.

Sylar didn't steal Eden's power of persuasion. She shot herself in the head. We don't know exactly why Mr. Bennett believed Sylar couldn't use his powers in that cage. But obviously he could, he used the telekinesis power to pull Eden through the glass.

Is Peter still injured? I thought being next to the Claire that long talking with her would have healed him.

6. Hiro fights a dragon with a sword at some point in the future.

I think that was a dinosaur. Who knows - maybe he'll go back in time to the dinosaurs or something. Hiro's definitely my favorite character besides Peter. He's just got a pure spirit about him, and his enthusiasm about things is so funny.

There is more to Peter than meets the eye. He is somehow sick right now, and he could see the future. Something is going on there, just don't know what.

Yeah, it could have been a dinosaur. I didn't really look at it that hard.

Maybe there's more to his power? Maybe he's a purer form of Saylar and can slowly copy other powers but in a weaker form without killing people or something.

Like I said above, there is definitely more to Peter than meets the eye. He definitely wasn't around Isaac at the time, and that wouldn't matter much because Isaac can't see the future. He can only paint it. Isaac also paints it exactly how it is. Peter's future vision was more or less just a collection of thoughts, that have meanings. It was less definite.

k...thats a good theory, how do u explain the bomb inside of him blowing up the whole world?! that would take like 10 nuclaer bombs to do that ( i think... ) those bombs would be huge! how do u fit that much into 1 person?! :ohnoes:

There isn't a bomb inside of him. Sylar is probably close by, and when Peter acquires Sylar's powers, he can't control them all.
