greenslime89
I brushed the background - black and white layer. Then created a new layer and brushed the red then created a new layer and brushed the yellow, so it looked like a fire or an explosion. Then I added the render and the text, merged all the layers and added a border. All done in CS2. Constructive critisism please? Updated the border: Photos! woopidoo2
*Im back! :P * Its your best signature so far, it looks like the render is walking out of the signature itself. cadburys_egg
Few pointers; [*:5t3z2z9t] Needs more contrast, it looks very plain. [*:5t3z2z9t] I don't like the render on top of the border, put it behind. [*:5t3z2z9t] Put a gradient (the radial one) behind the render, but on top of the brushing and set it to overlay. It'll focus and improve the colours more. [*:5t3z2z9t] Font is pretty... boring and plain. I'd find something a bit better, also get rid of the outer glow. Instead, set the text colour to white and add a 50~75% 1px black stroke. [*:5t3z2z9t] Text placement... It doesn't need to be in a corner. It's hard to get a good text placement with a centered render, this is why I try not to do that.
lordspyx
I really like this, I would use it as my own signature anyday however, i do think that one criticism has to be made. If you put your render in front of the border, you should be able to see the whole of it not just the bold line where the render stops, if you are unable to do this it is probrably wiser to just trap the render behind the border.
