Attack Style "Problem"

I was at Pest Control training my defense with a whip. It was on deflect mode, which is the mode that trains defense.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I also had a window open with my highscore list, so I could see how much exp I gained from my last log-out. After around 10 minutes of PC, I checked my defense exp, it was the exact same. :shock:

 

 

 

Of course, my first thought was to check my attack style, and it was on deflect. Next I panicked and thought they removed exp, but I had gotten exp only 20 minutes ago (before my last log-out) so that wasn't it.

 

 

 

I checked my HP exp and it was rising, so I was still getting exp. Then I checked my other skills, and noticed my attack was gaining exp..

 

 

 

I switched my attack styles back and forth, and put it back on deflect. Then I started to get defense exp again.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Was this just lag? Would have been a bigger problem if I had not noticed it.

I would say server lag. Watch it to see if it keeps acting weird.

Heh, I hate when i train other stats than the one I mean to be training. Sometimes i'll log out, come back soon and just forget to switch it. I always get a little ticked at myself when I do that :lol:

probably a glitch from the servers, i mean they did change them so much by changing their names :roll:

The high scores update every time you log out. If you log out and you have them open in anther screen they might not refresh. So log out, then refresh the other screen. You should see the update to the exp.

Ya I know. To be honest I wasn't using the high scores page, but actually a helper program for RS that tracks exp and stuff, and I update my high-scores everytime I log out. But since Tip.It doesn't like us to talk about third party programs, I just said high scores. It's not illegal though because it doesn't interact with RS gameplay in anyway, just external stuff like calculators and stuff.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I also was watching my exp in-game as I was killing stuff and my def exp wasn't moving. But it's fine now, so it was probablly just server lag.
