November 25, 200619 yr Hi, I am having problem with my monitor. It keeps flickering. I remember having this problem before and i fixed it by going somewhere, but now I don't remember. By flickering, i mean kinda shaking. It flickers, and then stops, it isn't constant. I have a windows xp home edition. Emachines. thanks.

November 26, 200619 yr I'm guessing it's a CRT screen? Check for sources of electromagnetic interference nearby. Mine does that when the microwave in the next room is on, also when the screen next to it is at a different refresh rate. Some people are changed by being a moderator. I wouldn't be.

Our cpu lab, computers were facing each other, so we'd turn on the screen on and off to shake the other person's screen :lol:
