New Laptop graphics card??

Laptop hardware is generally not upgradable because of the compact space it has to fit into. It also means cracking open the laptop case which is usually designed not to come apart. You could probably contact HP and have it done by them if they even offer it but it's generally not worth it.

As for the lag, one game most likely uses a higher end graphics engine than the other, resulting in higher quality and more strain on your card.

You can play BF2 on a 7200 card? I have the 7300 but thought that BF2 is a waste of money since I would lag like hell if I bother. Might get that game then.

:? I played it fine at medium detail with a fx5700 ...

Also, you can't really compare two games. I , for example, could play half life 1 on all high details like a madman on our crappy laptop my family has, but if I tried hl2 it just simply wouldn't work.

Anyways, I belive the reason BF2 lags more anyways (since they are somewhat close in graphical power) is that in my experience BF2 takes a lot more memory than most games.
