well 2 stacks off arrows just formed in my inventory is this normal? :S

It isn't a glitch. There is something about this in the Hidden Updates sticky. The way that things go into your inventory when you equip something that goes in their spot has changed so that when the thing that used to be up goes back into you inventory, it can go to a different spot that things already there, making two stacks of the same item.

What he means is that the search function is a bit buggy at times...
