dsavi
I've been having a problem on my MP3 player that it doesn't play WMA files, even though it says it does on the instructions that came in the same box. It will play the windows sample music- which are just parts of songs and therefore not subject to copyright- so I think it has something to do with the liscense, because it won't play a song I bought on msn music store. Is there some driver I can download on to my computer that somehow configures it, or is there another way? I don't know what kind it is. It came in one of those cheap magazine offers, and it doesn't even have a brand name anywhere on it! I checked the manual, and it does not say anything about DRM (Digital Rights Managemet).. Mercifull
Are the files protected by some form of DRM? Edit: Didnt read the post properly, you will have to read the manual for your specific mp3 player. If it doesnt play protected wmas by default then it probably never will. nomar04
did you have to install anything when you first got it? if you did you might have unchecked a box for wma format, or just not had it checked originally. if u can try and find a list of formats it will play, and see which ones are checked.
