my dad's picking up diablo II for me and he's gunna be home in a few minutes, and i was wondering what class do you guys suggest i pick. i was thinking of going with a druid but i'm not sure of what the other classes are capable of. if you could suggest a class and a reason why that would be appreciated ::'

p.s. i've got LoD as well.

It really, really depends on your playing style. Barbarians are pretty simple minded, easy for beginners. I personally found myself making paladins and barbarians alot. Those are my two favorites, definetely.

i sorta like using magic and summoning more than just melee styled combat

congrats on 1k posts btw =D> :)

I suggest you choose a sorceress and boost her fire skills. Fire sorc are the easiest without good gear and can easily hit 3k at lvl 20-30.

Wow I really miss D2X. If only my computer wasn't messed up and didn't make it laggy...

I don't remember what characters I used most. I liked the Barbarian a lot, he was fun to play with (two handed ftw ). Sorceress is also good, Necro and Druid are underpowered at higher levels if I remember correctly, but they have some cool skills.

Necromancers >:D

Cause dead people are cool.

The Enrichment Center reminds you that the weighted companion cube will never threaten to stab you and, in fact, cannot speak.

In the event that the weighted companion cube does speak, the Enrichment Center urges you to disregard its advice.

Nah, Sorc ftw.

If you want to sit back, watch how the others play, learn from them: Pure summoning necromancer (skelemancer)

If you want to get good items: Maxed out magicfind Blizzard sorceress (blizz/cold sorc)

If you want really high damage: Pure blessed hammer paladin (hammerdin)

If you want anyone to talk with(if you play on europe realm) add Creekz

Some of the common commands are

/friends add Creekz - adds me to your friendlist

/m Creekz 'message' - sends me a private message

/friends list - shows everyone on your friend list

/help - shows some extra commands

/friends remove Creekz - removes me from your friendlist
