Inksplot
Aye, I know I'm a new member, but what you should know is that I'm no "noob", I actually take the time to type and deliberate what I say. Anyways, back to the point of this topic. I would like to share a story about gift-giving. As repetitive as said topic may seem, just find it in your heart to take the time to read this. It was just today, actually, that this happened. I, Inksplot56, am an aspiring smith, already breaking into the lower highscores for mining and smithing (Yes, you need not give me flak for being in the lower rankings). I cared not as much for the joy of combat and Player Killing, as my brothers and sisters-in arms do as much surprise to my friends, but for gradually stocking up on my coal and iron stashes to finally achieve those last levels of Steel so I would be able to move onto Mithril smithing. (I've already reached the capability to mine mithril, only 3 levels until Mining Guild). It so happens that I also wear full Rune armor to defend myself against the occasional Rock Golem to add to my meager offensive weapon, my trusty Rune pick. However, one thing was left out of my soot-layered armor-the full helmet. Yes, I have been going around Runescape without a full helmet to defend my beautiful face. Shocking, no? I was about to leave my favorite mining spot, the Edgeville dungeons to the bank above to deposit my treasure of ores when suddenly, an imposing figure opened the gates, warding off the skeletons nearby with his mere presence. I won't name names here, unless it's perfectly OK to disclose such information in private messages, but what I can say is this: This man was a level 115 member, clad in full Barrows and what I believe is the Skill cape, if I have my information right for a white cape and a symbol on it's back. Needless to say, I was speechless as to why such a player like him was on an F2P world, and in any place underground in a mine. All I was able to say was "Oh my God, I don't see many people like you much", to which he replied, "Is that so?" But then the conversation shifted. "Do you not have a helmet?", he asked me, stepping forward a bit. I merely muttered a no and he stepped forward even more and showed me a surprise-a Guthix helmet. "It's your lucky day" he said with a smile and he gave it to me for free. "I don't need it". This action warmed my heart, and I realized something. This is indeed the holiday season, when people should not be stealing from others, but sharing the gift of kindness and respect towards one another. To be blunt, do something good this Christmas and give your friends something special. Just show them you enjoy their company and something along with it. Inksplot56- F2P Player. xSxqPowerx
I'll try doing stuff like that again this christmas, I guess. :? Last time I did I gave some lvl 17 f2per a rune (g) skirt, and she started yelling at me and calling me a noob because I wouldn't give her the rest of the set. :-k

Inksplot
Wow, this is great... recently I gave away my adamant armor that I had no need for to a player in their 30's... he didn't believe I was "getting lured" into giving it to him for free, so it's all cool. Blackarch2
Very very well written =D> But you might wanna do a little more computer talk, cuz lots of people don't understand roleplaying : , Or descriptiveness for that matter. Inksplot
Sadly I'm one of those kinds of people that actually PREFER to type correctly... blame my English teacher, you know how it goes. ;) Well, being a free member has lots of disadvantages... limited bank space means less items, and I've already given away a good deal of my items... well, I guess I'll be giving away money then.
