well if you check general p2p many people are posting events and parties even though there is a new tip.iter events forum..I thought hey! we should make people post in the right forum so maybe when we log in a little pop up comes saying:

That's actually a really cool idea! It'd be cool to have something at like the bottom of the home page or a pop up on the forums...Would save moderators some work, too.

Why stop at a pop-up? maybe advertise the tip of the week more? footer at the bottom of every page? so that you have a tip of the week at the top(pop-up) one middle or main part of the page(the forums) and at the bottom(footer).
