I guess the mountains look a bit botchy :?

but u should probably ask nadril

hes the landscape addict :D

Water looks blotchy too. Don't know what you could do though.

Make sure that you have the render quality slider (underneath the preview window) all the way up at maximum. It will make the render look so much better.

For a daytime image you need to play around alot with the filters in the ground control colours, adding many siblings until it looks nice, usually it helps to add some green in a slightly flatened area to make a grass type feel, and possible some tanish/yellow for a sandy beach, there arent many places on earth with white and brown mountains with a river running through them so it doesnt look totally realistic, in my sig(which is also teragen) i didnt need to mess with anythinca because its nighttime, just expiriment is all I can say.

if you used terragen move the realism and detail slider up to full and it woll look very very nice :D

hmm ps1 grafics it looks like the mountians have no curves.

well yea, what the other guys said

also, there's some plugins you can download, like water works, to add some foam at the edge of the water...you did a good job on the atmosphere but it would look better if there wasn't so many mountains and they were a bit smaller, so you can see the sky better

go cowboys

lol

anyways onto the landscape:

good:

- Actullay have a surface map for your first one, thank god lol.

- The actual landscape part isn't that bad, and you tried to incorpate(sp?) fog, and thats nice.

needs work:

- The quality is reaaaly bad. Did you move the quality slider all the way to the right before you rendered?

- Atmosphere, surface map, landscape all that can be improved. Just mess aroiund with making surface maps and with the atmo controls :D

How about try to add a few small islands and have the land level out as a beach.
