As for your question, There are some spots, but I did it from 30 till 70 on experiments and did it in 2 days, so you might want to try that, although I don't know how crowded it is these days and drops aren't an option.

I used fire giants in the water fall from 65 to 70, it was averaging between two to three hours per level. Not bad money, plenty of safe spots at least in the small room, and there is usually only two types of people going there, players leveling there range, and people completing slayer taskings. I did do a slayer assignment of 148 blue dragons at about level 67 but found them to be much slower overall for experience, but a much nicer source of income (hides and bones) They also seem slower to kill which can cost you arrows. The dragons I was using were the ones in the ogre enclave which I like more than the member dungon blues as there are 5 in the enclave and only 3 in members. The down side is you have to use a nightshade to enter each time, but it's a small price to pay to not have to battle for dragons. The lesser demons in the volcano can also be an alternative as there are also a good number of range spots there, there drops are not bad and if your quick you can kill them in rapid succession. I ranged about 50 of them at level 70 (Slayer assignment again) and was coming pretty close to a thirty second turn around. I did those on a saturday, and while busy it wasn't so bad that I had to jump.

Doing slayer assignments would also be a good way to build range exp while working on another skill. The big monsters tend to have some sort of safe spot and the small ones are weak enough that you should be fine with red d'hide. By all means don't assume that you can range everything in slayer but if you can't stand to train on one single monster for hours on end this could be a good way to get were your going.

One final suggestion, do the new quest, animal magnetism. You get a back pack that not only gives +4 for range attack but it slowly makes steel arrows as you walk around.
