First thing, I think it might be ok. If it does well, I wouldn't be surprised to see a sequel come out. Like Hostile, movie is good the first time, but there shouldn't really be a second one. Sort of like The Ring, and The Grudge.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Second one, I don't think it's a good idea to be out on Christmas. Really, who would want to spend their X-Mas watching a movie about blood and gore, on a happy day and a time meant to be spent with family. The day after X-Mas would be good :wink:

Isnt it a remake of the original film that When a Stranger Calls is a sequal to?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Both the originals are relatively good but the remake of When a Stranger Calls was absolutely awful. I thought it was just me getting old because ive been moaning about the quality of "teen horror" or "teen comedy" movies recently, but i've also been watching a few of the horror and comedy films from when i was a bit younger and they are actually still good. I have therefor come to the conclusion that the quality of acting has deteriorated, so had the directing and also the script writers. :cry:

Seems like they're running out of ideas....

 

 

 

Taking the what is supposed to be the happiest day of the year and turning it into a horror film.

I really want to see this movie. If it wasn't my family's tradition to stay home on Christmas, I'd go see it the day in comes out.

I agree to a certain extent. I've seen some older movies that are pretty cheesy but I think now adays we're relying on computers to do most of the work, and so actors don't work as hard as they should to earn the millions they make.
