oreocookie987 Posted December 16, 2006 Share Posted December 16, 2006 Heres a few tips: -Always have your highest Defender in your inventory -Defenders appear under Big Bones, so check every pile -Make sure to show the girl a new Defender as soon as you get one. Do it twice just in case. -Do not wear a Ring of Wealth. Defenders have a value of 0 gp, so wearing a Ring of Wealth will decrease chances. Good luck. Its a great feeling to finally get the Rune Defender. Also, make sure you keep your Adamant Defender so you can always get a Rune one back easily if you lose it. I also kept the Black one because it looks awesome \ Expecting a good life because you're a good person is like expecting a bull not to charge because you're a vegetarian. Nabbagad Posted December 16, 2006 Share Posted December 16, 2006 I was thinking a little the same as you. took me over 1k tokens to get a bronze took me over 3k tokens to get a steel then took about 1k from steel to addy. then took 210 tokens from an addy to 5 rune defenders. At the start i was really annoyed but keep trying and im sure u will get there soon enough! the main thing annoying me was when i was on iron and took me 3k tokens for steel, coz i went with a friend and he went from a bronze to a rune defender in under 400 tokens! Exactly, explain plz.. this is new for me... and by the way; 1 month ago, I returned to warriorsguild for some spare rune defenders. Got 5 in a roughly 2-3 hours WITH ring of wealth! fenarox Posted December 17, 2006 Share Posted December 17, 2006 ring of wealth INCREASES chances of things that JAGEX VALUE highly so if a cyclops drops a iron full and this alchs for says 35gp this is JAGEX VALUE a defender of any metal alchs for 0gp this is its JAGEX VALUE the ring of wealth increases drop rates of items with higher JAGEX VALUE therefore wearing one increase your chances of getting a item like a iron full helm and decreases tyour chances of getting a defender Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
