Anthrax
Hey Tip.It, I just started members, whats a good skill for me to train now? I'm level 19 combat. I've done Druidic Ritual, and about 3 of the members Quests, so if you could tell me a good stat to train, I'd be grateful. :) If the Lord is five, and the Devil is six, then that must make me Seven. Kaphias
Magic is good to train, now that you are a member, there is a lot more area to cover, and you don't want to walk over all of it. And right now, I'm fishing. 41 fishing and cooking, 41 mining, 39 smithing, 22 crafting. 29 wc and 30 fm. If the Lord is five, and the Devil is six, then that must make me Seven. Michael
Forsooth, correct me if I am wrong but what gives you the right to tell him he can't be a member at his lvl, if anything he is being smart and getting ahead of others at his combat lvl. Oh yes and raise fletching, it's a nice money earner at 70+ fletching.
Anthrax
Don't turn this into a flaming thread. :( Jessy, add me in-game? :) If the Lord is five, and the Devil is six, then that must make me Seven. Webster is my antichrist.
Michael
Sorry, but it is unfair to tell you to come back later, combat lvl does not define whether or not you can become a member.

Help and Advice? Agreed. Magic is key if you don't like walking everywhere. I'd suggest that too. Also, like said before. Help & Advice board next time. ;)
Anthrax
True, I've seen level 3's just be members for skilling.. I'm a skiller in training. :) If the Lord is five, and the Devil is six, then that must make me Seven. Webster is my antichrist.
Anthrax
Thanks Metallica, mind adding me in-game? I'm trying to bump my friends list up. :) If the Lord is five, and the Devil is six, then that must make me Seven. Webster is my antichrist. Huge Noob
Thanks Metallica, mind adding me in-game? I'm trying to bump my friends list up. :) I usually try to keep my friends list a bit small. I already have a lot of people added that I barely speak to. Sorry.
compfreak847
Good luck - but usually if your a low level cutting yews in p2p, most people think your a skiller, not an autoer. curmudgeony
I'll play devil's advocate, and say that it isn't so much that below a certain combat level people should be unwelcome. Its more, that to really enjoy questing in members, combat skills should be pretty high. Much of the game is level grinding, and perhaps what they meant was "Why shell out 5 bucks a month to level up, when you can do it for free?" Myself, I think I should have waited a bit until around level 50 or so, before I joined members. The "new to members" guides are very very useful. That being said, if you are looking to gain cash, without a lot of combat, woodcutting/fletching is the way to go. Its kinda boring. Scratch that. Its mind-numbingly super-humanly, "punch yourself in the [redacted] just to stay awake" boring. However, ultimately it pays off.
forsooth
Forsooth, correct me if I am wrong but what gives you the right to tell him he can't be a member at his lvl, if anything he is being smart and getting ahead of others at his combat lvl. Oh yes and raise fletching, it's a nice money earner at 70+ fletching. I Will correct you. I will say what i want. I think that it is almost a waste of money for people lvl >50 to join as members if they have no high skill for money making. I joined at 30ish, and now i realize i should have waited for another 30 level for when there was something that only members could wield. It's just my suggestion, i didn't ask you. Brinner
imo people should be atleast lv.40 combat until members...but for skiller pures its just good enough...(i seen a lv.3 skiller in p2p that had 2 99 lv skills) anway you should maybe train wc with fletching and maybe stay away from thieving and slayer and agility until you lv up your combat more...also you could train hunter
