try dithering on the bg so that the color change will be more gradual...

I very much like the idea, but i think the eye holes should be bigger, and the mask itself should be a tad darker in colour.

I think its a bit simple imo, not much time went into it but its what you probably set out to do so I personally don't have any problems with it.. If you want to improve it you probably might want something with a little more creativity involved.

It looks like a game controler to be honest...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The background is much too distracting, and the "mask" has no detail to it. Look up some tutorials about dithering.
