Yeah, you shouldn't have to tell me. I couldnt even make out the form. The whole point of a sprite is to be in a game, and games are all about readability. You have to make something that is instantly recognizable.

easier to say in darker skins btw

choose a lighter backround colour, don't be too harsh with the shading, use it to pick out detail rather than focusing totally on lighsource..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I wouldnt be as harsh as you guys, it is obviously a little hooded character its just certain details that are hard to make out.

yah ter, im just tryin to get my highlights and dark spots sorted out before i move onto anythin else. btw u still owe me a sig from a year or 2 ago :o

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

should i maybe go for lyk, 100x100? should show more detail and (forgot the word) lyk, its there XD

100x100 is a fighter sprite. :|

with sprites your best making a base body, before adding clothing. It usually makes things a lot easier..
