Yeah, I guess it is pretty simple. I mean any sport that requires offensive/defensive play coordinators, 11 different feild positions with thousands of plays, 6 referees, and an atrocious amount of technical rules and fouls is pretty simple.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Those QB's sure have it easy, they only have to deal with a 5/3/7 man blitz, 3 recievers and a countless combo of half backs and full backs in a matter of seconds to make a play. Why can't they make all sports all simple as sledding down an ice tube?

1. It's an incredibly repetitive sport about sweaty people running around a field trying to get a ball.

 

 

 

2. It has no use, and it doesn't benefit society one bit.

 

 

 

3. The most interesting thing that will ever happen in the game is an injury. That's pretty sad.

 

 

 

4. There are much better sports out there that benefit people. Martial arts, skiing, bobsledding, even baseball, are all better than football.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is why I think football sucks. Obviously, people will probably have other opinions on this.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

All unsound and incredibly invalid points, but it's okay. If I didn't understand the rules i'd probably think it's repetitive too (plus boring, Saints on MNF please). But I just want to know one teentsy eentsy thing, how does does bobsledding or skiing benefit anybody more than football? I'm not trying to start a fuss, I just want your thoughts.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My thoughts? Based on all your other posts the football players at your school probably all pick on you, so you may be a bit biased. Understandable.

 

 

 

Well, they benefit us because they're a lot more "sophisticated", and they are a lot more "smart" in my opinion. No, the "football players" don't pick on me. Hell, most of the time, I pick on them. (Not in a bullying-type way, but a logic-based way.) :XD:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I think football is incredibly barbaric. Sports like martial arts and skiing are more "sophisticated" and are more...I guess you could say..."smart" than football. Football's just not my style, and no, I don't think I was being biased. I also don't know how you came to that conclusion...:roll:

I will explode at you. If you didn't want to get exploded at, you should have stayed off the NFL forum topic. Football is not a barbaric sport. There are many different plays, schemes, defensive packages, and blitzes used to confuse the quarterback. In order to play football, you not only have to be smart, you have to make lightning quick decisions, no time to think about. (God I am always late on these posts!!!!)

This is why you dont talk about football on a runescape forum because people like rush rock. He probaly dont even know the rules. Then you get those people who have never stepped foot outside to play football. Yes football is the best sport and most americans would agree. Cullpeper injured like week 5 out for season so you cant really say if he is going to be good and bad. He was very very good in minnesota but players decline in skill quickly. Nick Saban the dolphins coach which cullepeper qb plays for was ment to be starter till he got injured but if Nick Saban returns he will be starter again. Anyways Lions are my fav team 2-14 skills huh :-X.
