If there still aren't any safe spots, then try going the Brimhaven Dungeon Fire Giants. There's 3 there in relatively close proximity that can all be safely ranged. In the room with that chest, you can range next to it and the giants won't be able to get to you if you position yourself correctly. Rough lesson I learned, do not trust anybody, I did not learn this lesson from RuneScape rather a cold heartless person, she was my toxin, corroding this heart, yet I came back for more. Nor will I open it if someone pointed a gun to my head, for the simple reason, you can not trust people. Ya there are a lot of safespots.
