I'm currently level 80 range, and I want 99 range. At the moment, I'm at pest control to get it. I'm using melee during the games, then spending my points on ranged exp. Just a few minutes ago I spent my first 100 points, and the realisation of how long it will take started to seep in.

 

 

 

Now, to my question, should I continue with the way I'm doing it now or powerrange with bronze arrows at ogres? The major reason that I'm using pest control is because of a lack of funds, or a lack of willingness to use my funds on skills. But I'd like to know how much faster ogres are, or if they're even any faster. Also, if you feel like it, you could tell me how many points i need for 99. :)

Or if you're going to powerrange, why not powerrange at PC (use arrows and don't bother picking up before game ends).

Well if you get a good PC group, you SHOULD be able to get 100+ points a night. I usually get 100 points a night then trade em' in for xp and go to bed :Q Once I acheived my combat goals, I'll be using PC to raise my ranged and magic, also realizing the EXTREME money saving I'll be doing becuase I hate buying/bargaining for arrows/runes and I hate fletching and RC. And honestly I don't think 7800 points is bad for 80-99 ranged. If your dedicated and are able to play PC for like 6+ hours on weekends and a few in the evening during the week it shouldnt take long.
