Only IE6....

Recommended Posts

My computer is just stupid. For a while, I thought it would only let IE6 becuase of something i did, but then when IE7 came out, i downloaded it, and I dont get internet... I had to do a system restore to undo that.

You see, Ive tried Oprea, Firefox, and now IE7, But for some very annoying reason, ONLY IE6 works. ONLY.

Now, I would reinstall windows like THAT!, But I cannot since its a family computer and this seems to only bother me. Well, I belive its now Norten Internet Security.

My mother of course, will not let me log on in her name to at least disable the damn thing, so I made a hijack This log since, Unless Norten are computer gods, I can just End the process.

BUT! Before I do this, Could there be any bad things On my system I might never have found????

Read on...

Disabling your Anti-virus/Firewall is a stupid idea. Ask your mum to log in so you can enable access to Firefox. Quite simple, if shes worried let her watch while you do it so she knows you arnt doing anything dodgy.

(a little remark: parents and newgrounds on startpage wouldnt be a good idea - i dont go to newgrounds cuz I know its not always the site parents want you to go to - i suggest google or something)

Maybe you should go to newgrounds and look... There's nothing there! I go on that website once in a while to watch the movies and play the games.

I don't know, but I might be able to help. A couple of weeks ago I had (you know) pop-ups on my computer. I told my dad, he fixed it. How: open firefox browser->tools->options->privacy->cookies disabled(I'm not exactly sure, because the problem seems to have gona away after a while).
