January 3, 200719 yr Depends on if you're keeping the iron or not. Me, I mine at Rimmington, then just sell to the general store. It's usually nice and deserted by high-level miners with rune pickaxes. Thank the world for spell checkers.

January 3, 200719 yr Well, Rimmignton is reputed as auto-mining central, plus it's not close to any bank. I'd recommend the mines south-east of Varrock. Pretty much what Dragon said.Thread terminated.I guess that means I'm the thread Terminator? No Tip.Iters were harmed in the making of this post.
January 3, 200719 yr Yep south-east of varrock thats where I mine when I mine iron ore. Two rocks close together and three in a line so if you're in a hurry you can get all three, hopefully if you have a rune pick. Be warned though, i'd mine with public chat on friends or off as the noobs cuss you out for stealing 'their rocks'. Also its quite popular with other higher level miners so you might find some competiton. You should find a nice world though..just warning you of the bad parts.

A few things... -- look here for mining location information -- if you just want the mining exp, then I always liked the 3 iron rocks in Al-Kharid -- if you want to bank them, then the SE Varrock mine is close to a bank -- mine on a high population server for the fastest respawn time. For example, the respawn time for Runite ore goes down by 1 second for every 3 players logged in. Hope this helps
