peterbluer
Okay, so my audio and dd don't work. I think I uninstalled them, but I'm not sure(I was only 10, I've had this problem for 3 years), so can someone send me some links, and if it doesn't work I'll tell you. I'm sorry about not providing much information, but I don't remember.

Jaziek
dd = disk drive dl = download find out what make your disk drive is, and download the drivers for it again
peterbluer
I'm sorry if I sound stupid, but how do I find out what make my disk drive is. I can help you(a bit): my system: Pentium 3, Windows 2000. Other than that, I don't know.

Other than that, I don't know. No offense, but if you uninstalled your disk drive, windows 2000 would automatically install the default drivers upon a reboot. You would have to take no action to install the disk drive, if it is not working, it is most likely a hardware failure and not a driver issue. If you have a computer made by a large company (dell, gateway, hp, compaq, e-machine, etc.), you should be able to find the drivers for your computer via their website under the support section. Just type in your computers' model number into the search support.

Blacknova
Um, how do I find the model number. I apologize, again. Depending on the computer manufacturer, it could be printed on the front, or on the back/bottom on a sticker.

Blacknova
IBM. The only IBM I could find was the IBM ThinkPad A31 IBM ThinkPad A31 Drivers <- this is a direct link to the searches for the ThinkPad A31 drivers. Good luck.
peterbluer
Yes, it says thinkpad on it. Oh, it's a laptop, too. I think I found a website that has a driver that I could use (http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-62296), but it's not what I'm looking for. I'm looking for something that can actually run my disks. I think I found a audio driver, though. Darn, the audio driver seem's to have not worked. I think it might be my soundcard, though. darkblade986
It would sound like a good idea to just reinstall Windows XP (or whatever your operating system is). However, this should only be done as AN ABSOLUTE LAST RESORT. By reinstalling windows, any drivers that were missing should be installed automatically. don't worry, you are going to "hell" anyway. wanna race to see who gets there first?Officially reached 100 Combat at 1:33PM EST, June 14, 2007First Dragon Drop: Dragon Chain (Dust Devils) @ 10:48PM EST, July 14, 2008, lv113 combat
Kinslayer777
Not really. There could be more recent versions of the drivers. Whatever drivers are up for download that match the computer are most likely the most reecent though.
peterbluer
I'm pretty sure I have a bad sound-card, and my disk-drive is broken, because I installed Drivers and they did nothing. Thanks for the help, though.

I really want to know where you got the idea he can do it... :-s I'm pretty sure I have a bad sound-card, and my disk-drive is broken, because I installed Drivers and they did nothing. Thanks for the help, though. If the Disk-Drive was broken your computer would not work at *ALL*!
