were your rsc characters transfered?

Featured Replies

when rs2 was released could you transfer your characters from rsc or did everyone start over?

always wondered this..

from what I read on the runescape website updates they did not have to start over. I might be wrong.

This is how it worked.

Everyone's characters were copied into RS2, and their items transfered to RS2. I believe you had 1 week or something to decide where you wanted to play, and you could transfer items between your accounts during that time. There was a transfer limit or something, but I don't remember since I did not use it.

Since runes were more available when you transfered runes from one to the other the amount changed. Your skills were the same on both, but not linked, so a level on one game would not transfer to the other. Because of new combat level system, pretty much everyone's combat level went up, while monsters randomly changed levels (elvarg used to be 100, lessers were like 3 levels lower) [/nostalgia]

P2P forever!... Or at least 'til <insert excuse here> happens

98% of people have signatures with made up statistics in them. If you're one of the 2% that doesn't, copy this and add it to your signature.

All rsc characters were transferred.
