voncritic
Cool. Here are some questions: I'm a Level 90 Ranger, F2P only. 1. Where's the best place for me to train my range now? 2. What'd be the best training bow for that spot? Maple Short or Willow Comp? 3. I'm an overall main so my CB is already high. I have 70 Def. already. Now, to make this char more successful in PKing with range, is it better to maintain this Def. Level or train it up to 90? 4. Are the new Range Enhancing Prayers useful? In what way? Thanks in advance. =D> I am back.

Gin_and_Tonic
where should i train from lvl 50 range i am to vll 99 i wanna get? and what arrows should i use? or knifes? keep in mind im member tyvm and hope this works good For a member, i'd advise you train 50-70 at pest control, purely because its pointless trying to kill monsters with good drops at a low level... You end up losing alot of arrows, they barely hit etc. Then once you have 70, train at either, Fire Giants (often busy though) in the Waterfall, Black Demons (they run so it can be hard to lure them over to you) Blue or Green Dragons (Watch out for pkers at Greens) or like wise, keep using pestcontrol - The mage monster and range monster are very easy to kill using nearly any arrow. Cool. Here are some questions: I'm a Level 90 Ranger, F2P only. 1. Where's the best place for me to train my range now? I heard the monsters in the Stronghold are good - However im not sure on they're level. Lessers Demons on Karajama are probably your best bet as they're high hits, and low defence. 2. What'd be the best training bow for that spot? Maple Short or Willow Comp? Maple short. 3. I'm an overall main so my CB is already high. I have 70 Def. already. Now, to make this char more successful in PKing with range, is it better to maintain this Def. Level or train it up to 90? I'd say get 90 defence. Rangers have low armour bonuses so they need all the defence they can muster. Just Pk a little deeper if you need to get a kill. 4. Are the new Range Enhancing Prayers useful? In what way? I just did a little test with no pray bonus items and it seems the Range pray does actually last quite a long time (afer about 30 seconds it were 53/63) Also, with defence pray and range pray on, they still both lasted a long time - The pray is good for playerkiller, would increase, say, a 20 max hit, to 21-22. Thanks in advance. My ranged is 52, And I'm F2P... Where should I train? You could try lesser demons, they may prove pointless if you cannot hit them... If not, try high level creatures in the Security Stronghold.

Gin_and_Tonic
It takes too long time to kill the lessers so I need to pickup the arrows and the lessers crushes me... Are there any good safe spots in S.O.S? I've seen alot of people post range levels from the Stronghold, for example to person who has 90 Range on this thread, so i can guess that there are. I know Minotaurs have a safe spot in one of the room's. Just go check it out and see what you find if you need too. Im 61 range f2p. Where should I train, wich type of arrows should I use, where should I buy arrows and how much should I buy arrows for? Well, at 61 Range you could probably kill Lesser Demons? Use Mith arrows which sell for about 60gpea, and you can get them from Worlds such as 1 and 3 if you go to Varrock, or from the Ranging shops in small quantites.
