Well i turn on my Cousins Pokemon game as he's stuck on the 4th badge, and it comes up with this;

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

'The internal battery has ran dry. The game can still be played, but timed events will stop'

There is a "Earing Aid Battery" in the GameBoy that is used to save the time and some other stuff. It is dead... Try calling the number on the back of the GameBoy. They might be able to help you.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

*Edit* Could be the battery in the Game not the Gameboy too...

The time system used in the Pokemon game uses a battery to keep it correct, even if it isn't on. And like all things, it runs out. I'm pretty sure there isn't anyway that Nintendo or whichever company who makes the games can help.

 

 

 

You can still play, like it says, but things which happen only at certain times of the day/week just won't happen and it will be as if you are stranded on the time and day it dried up on.

It's a bug in sapphire/ruby
