Well, now that Anaheim 1 is over, and Pheonix just around the corner, does anyone have a pick for the Champion? I was hoping that Ivan Tedesco could step it up this year and challenge Stewart, but a practice crash at one of the world sx rounds set him back with an injury. Coincidentally, the crash was with none other than James Stewart himself. Also, what are your views on Ricky Carmichael "retiring" to join the NASCAR circuit?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

EDIT: For those who don't know, supercross is a form of motorcycle racing, derived from the "superbowl of motocross" held 34 years ago, the first time the sport of motocross, or racing motorcycles on outdoor closed course circuits, was taken indoors. the sport has evolved to include 16 rounds of racing, in indoor stadiums across the country, plus 2 "world sx" rounds in Canada.

i know what the sport is and what the supercross is, and have seen it on TV a few times. But other than that i know nothing about it. It seems like a cool sport i guess.

I've heard of those names...from the blaring loud Supercross commercials on TV! It actually looks pretty interesting, at least better than NASCAR. People seem to fall off their bikes quite a lot in the commercial, is that normal, or do they just show the exciting parts?

i used to race motocross, until i separated my shoulder, and then i had to go to college. i want to start racing again after i get out of school, but until then im pretty much stuck watching races on tv.....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

stewart chased down and passed carmichael at phoenix this weekend, then led over half the race to his second consecutive victory.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

this was also ricky carmichael's last full-time race. he joined MB2 racing, and will be running a selected nascar late model, arca, and craftsman truck series races, along with a few other supercrosses.

I ride in the summers when we goto the dunes in Yuma or if I can take it out to the desert. It's a nice little 110cc 4 stroke and it's a blast and easy to ride. Not good enough to race with I reckon, but that light little thing can get some air ^_^
