Getting them from hill giants is s-l-o-w, (20-30 per hour), and the wilderness isn't that dangerious, due to two facts: it is not multi combat it is filled with agressive ice giants. If a pker starts attacking you, DON'T fight back. Soon an ice giant/warrior will attack him, and will force him to attack you instead.
