warri0r45
I think there could be other life out there, but popular belief says that they would be a super advanced race. Not necessarily. I think there may be fledgling life out there, such as microorganisms and the like, on planets similar to ours, at a similar (or greater, becuase the sun is below average size [correct me if i'm wrong]) distance from a star. And I dont think silicon would replace carbon the the basis of thier biology, as some people theorise, infact I think that these microorganisms could be similarto the ones we have here on earth (if the conditions are similar).Since the universe is seemingly infinitely there are probably life forms on the whole range. The range being ones that are single celled, bacteria like organisms on other planets to super beings far more advanced then us. A lot of people seem to think that it has to go one way or the other when in truth it almost certainly goes both ways. I agree, but I was just making the point that there would most likely be life forms on the complete opposite end of the scale to what people usually think. SanFranciscoGiants
Sorry but I think aliens are BS. I do think there is some other life out there, but not visiting our planet.

Satenza
That documentary was very enjoyable and fun, sort of strengthened my beleif in them. Also cospiracy is now no out of the question. It wasn't just a obvious one it was very intresting and raised good points. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

Markkei
I definitely believe that there is life throughout the universe, both simple and complex. I've always been fascinated by space and its mysteries, so no doubt extraterrestrial life falls under that area. As far as government conspiracies and other strange events around the world and the like, I would certainly like to believe them. In fact, I want them to be true. Seems boring if nothing affected us from the "outside" from time to time. As such, a government position in science/research would be the ideal job for me, as I'll get to "be in the know" of all these alien events. But that's probably just wishful thinking. Hell, maybe I will  . I'd most certainly die in the process if you know much about the security there, but it would be a glorious death :XD: . cardovilian
If there was a big government conspiracy to hide the existence of extra-terrestrials form the populace, this thread would have been deleted by now! Why is 'common sense' so named, when there is so little of it about?Welcome to puberty, we've been expecting you. jemathonical
There has to be something out there. The universe is too big just for one planet with lifeforms ^Sir Jem 05-The Bunny Drinking Blog?^ Click it!

It's kind of mind blowing how incredibly huge some of those nubulas and glaxys are. Do the image tours.
