If anyone receives a Sagittarius long or shortbow as a drop, keep in mind that it also comes with tier 11 arrows of the same name. I almost missed them since there was no mention of receiving them.

Thought this was a rather neat picture of my character in some ranging gear. -

New computer :) - Have I got all the parts?
Markkei replied to runesmithie's topic in Tech and Computers
Quad cores will drop in price relatively quickly; a Q6600 will be around $500 come this April. And we may be looking at other Q series reaching around $300 by the end of the year if this keeps up. Even so, it's not worth waiting until they're widely affordable, so a C2D is the way to go. I agree with the RAM Mr Putter suggested. -

You're crazy not to overclock a C2D :o And do you really need a floppy drive? If money is not a big issue, I recommend this PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817139002 -
The price of Windows Vista argument is flawed. Here is a post, quoted from HardForum: Click here to see the whole thread. Also, upgrade prices are as follows: Ultimate: $259.00 Business: $199.00 Home Premium: $159.00 Home Basic: $99.95 Most people will not be buying full versions of Vista. They will either be buying new computers that come with Vista/the free upgrade to Vista, or the upgrade version.

My god, Muggi, how could you. That's the end of our friendship. I just don't want to risk my loved ones' lives by being friends with you.

With some research, it seems that VGA and Component are very similar. Yes, Component can reach resolutions of 1080p, and VGA can reach resolutions of 1900 x 1080 or beyond, depending on your screen I suppose. People have had slightly sharper image quality, yet washed out colors with VGA, and deeper and richer colors with Component, but I'm at a loss to a clear cut statement for which is superior. Sorry I can't help you much, I don't know much about video.
-
my mistake, i mixed my terms... instead of DVI it should be VGA Then definitely go with component.

I didn't think the Xbox 360 had a DVI output. Component will be your best bet. The refresh of the Xbox 360 I believe has an HDMI port, in which then you could use a DVI to HDMI cable.

what operating system do you use!!

Dual-booting Windows XP Pro and Vista RC2. At the moment, Vista has been more reliable haha. If not for the lack of true drivers, it would be a very nice OS. I really don't see why many people pounce on the subject of Windows Vista and try to say how bad it is. -
My recently HD-failure older computer: Pentium 4 2.6GHz Asus P4P800 Motherboard 3GB RAM PNY Ge-Force 6800 (Unlocked, of course) 200 GB Total space over 2 HD Creative Audigy 2 ZS Windows XP Pro 22" Westinghouse LCD Soon to be upgraded to: Core 2 Duo 6400 Asus P5B Mobo 2GB RAM e-VGA 7600 150 GB WD Raptor Creative Audigy 2 ZS (Won't bother upgrading yet) Windows Vista Ultimate 22" Westinghouse LCD Core 2 Duo will be a stepping stone to the Core Quad 6400, coming later this year. Likewise, the e-VGA 7600 will be a stepping stone to the 8800GTX or the refresh, also later this year. Currently I use my laptop which is nothing special.

I really don't have an ultimate favorite, but favorites include The Lord of the Rings, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius, by Dave Eggers.

I tried integration by parts with u = x^2 and dv = x̢̮Ãâ¹Ã¢â¬Â Ãâ¦Ã¡(x^2 + 1) to no avail. Though I'm incompetent with integration so perhaps you can do better :P

I definitely believe that there is life throughout the universe, both simple and complex. I've always been fascinated by space and its mysteries, so no doubt extraterrestrial life falls under that area. As far as government conspiracies and other strange events around the world and the like, I would certainly like to believe them. In fact, I want them to be true. Seems boring if nothing affected us from the "outside" from time to time. As such, a government position in science/research would be the ideal job for me, as I'll get to "be in the know" of all these alien events. But that's probably just wishful thinking.

I'm starting to get frustrated with the defender role also...I'm at level 4 now, so I might as well push to 5 to get it over and done with. It's just, sometimes the Runners are so annoyingly...intelligent! They have to finish walking to their intended location, then detect the bait you dropped. Coupled with lag when enemies hit you and just lag in general, this makes for a frustrating experience. Besides, saying you're a level x defender doesn't sound as impressive as, say, a level x healer :P. Runners and defenders don't influence the battlefield much at all. Next time I'm playing is with a group of actual friends, since then you know they'll be reliable.

Ha good luck, you will die in no time flat. Sorry, but this game is probably not for you. My friends have said this ruin economy as low levels get d chain, but thats so not true There is no way a low level is going to get a queen kill or close, so they can't It stands that low levels will become a burden as they use up healers time so will cause someone else death by lack of healing or die themselves due to lower hp *Sighs* Thats what i thought, oh well, thanks for the advice guys : That and she can 1-hit you :P . Extremely frustrating if you're trying to stay alive while telling both healers and defenders to say their food. When they finally manage to kill their penants, I (as collector) distract the queen while the attacker fires the eggs. Guess who ran to the cannon redbarred attracting the queen's attention? Mr defender. Also, Guthans is a great help. I have NEVER seen her 1 hit anyone and I've gone up against her 5 times now In fact most damage I've seen her personally do is 12. I found her to be quite undeadly, just incoveincing to normal tactics then easy as pie once the other 4 monsters r wiped out And 12 damage is enough to 1-hit someone with 10 hp. I've just played through nearly 10 waves with no one bothering to update me with what bait I have to drop for the runners. Very frustrating.

Time management. I could be doing something productive right now, but nooo.

For the PC, definitely Half Life, Warcraft II and III, Command and Conquer, Sim City, X-Wing/TIE Fighter...my list could probably go on. As for console games, all Super Mario games, Super Smash Bros, Halo.

I play, or would be playing if my desktop's harddrive didn't just fail a few days ago. Once I get a new desktop (should be soon) or figure out how to play it on my laptop will I start playing again. Otherwise, 9 Dragons isn't a bad game. What keeps me entertained the most is the atmosphere of the game and the prospect of huge clan wars and hopefully intense boss raids. I also like how you can fight alongside with other clans; the game's pretty diverse in this aspect. Grinding doesn't become that bad until lvl 40+, but sometimes I'm grateful for it since the chance of item drops is so low. Lag is basically nonexistent where it matters. Even so, as it's in "pre-open beta," there are lots of bugs in both quests and even the combat system. Hopefully they'll sort most of these soon, if not at the release of the true open beta. In which they say they will definitely not perform another character wipe. Anyway, my character's name is Keita, currently Raising Light 2. I'll try to be back online as soon as I can, hope to see you there :)

Hey, I remember you :P Back a little while ago when we held regular CW events. I really respected you, bs_johannes, Anarith, others...all awesome people to hang out with.

Has the drop rate of clue scrolls gone down?
Markkei replied to dudeonthenet's topic in General Discussion
I would say yes but I'm just experiencing some bad luck. I think. I hope. I don't know. -
Guess he found another way to do that which was overlooked.

Haha Muggi the sadist. I'd do the same though *winks at Caduarab*
