Had to break my no-posting spell eventually. While I'm saddened by your leaving, I'm totally understanding of your decision. There comes a point in our lives where we just have to take that next step. I knew Runescape wouldn't last forever for me also - I wish it had, of course, since I've met an amazing number of good friends, you included. It's really difficult to leave this game because of that. I'm pretty sure I remember the time we first met - think it was the Smokey Dungeon/Well? Thought you were a really nice guy, and naturally hoped to see you again somewhere along the line. Fortunately, that wish was granted, because later we spent good times in the TET and of course Team Stats - flaunting our power, crushing all resistance, trash talking, etc. I'll have to apologize though, since I sort of "faded out" from the Runescape world, barely posting anymore here on these forums and even sparingly logging into the game. Life has also become busy for me, and with that my interest in Runescape and other games decline. It had to come sooner or later - but again, I wish we had more time. Still, I deeply regret neglecting a lot of great friends by making them worry where I am, and not coming up with a definitive asnwer to if I'll be playing much, if at all, ever again. Ugh. But this isn't a goodbye thread for me, so don't take what I say too seriously :P All I'm trying to say is that I regret not spending more time with you guys and "leaving" without notice. If only the Runescape world had more cool guys like you. Best of luck in life and the future.

Well, well! 85 slayer is another one of those great accomplishments (like that fire cape!) and I'm sure you'll do it! Don't overwork yourself though, I remember my days of training for 85 where I'd just spend hours upon hours on the computer...thoroughly upsetting my parents for poor time management, haha. Since you're not getting the level for the money you can take it a little more easy, so I envy you for that :P If you need any advice, I'll be available...sometimes...once a week? Maybe more? I'll probably log on anyway since it's always nice to have a good friend to talk to especially during slayer training! Even if you're not training for the money, the money will come to you, haha. Remember all my dragon drops? Now they can be yours :o So I'll be sure to transfer some of my crazy luck to you so you can surprise me with like 3 dragon drops in a day or something :P Anyway, good luck, and keep at it! I'll definitely annoy you about your progress :D

Ahh, Neopets, that brings back memories. In fact, a friend I met while playing Neopets introduced me to Runescape. I'm not sure if I should hate him or thank him for that :P Anyway, it's hard to say if there's a connection between to the two creatures. As mentioned, sea snakes are real snakes that are highly venemous. However, you may consider the fact that both Jagex and Neopets are based in England :P

Well, of course Jedi mind powers exist! You should see me put them to great use in many a situation. As far as those curious "younglings" I just do the same as you do. Address them with respect and most of them will probably show some level of respect back. I've even befriended a few of them just because they were nice and simply looked up to me ( :P ). If they're able to resist your mind powers, you could always ignore them. No use getting agitated over some kids who haven't matured enough yet to socialize properly. And why don't you like peopling!? :(

Oh, you 3rd derivative! But yeah, you find those jerks everywhere in the game, with no discrimination in level or just what they do - from skills like mining to minigames like Castle Wars. Unfortunately there's no way to teach them some manners from our side to rid of them all :( Though we can all still be nice to others to gradually make Runescape a better (but not perfect) place :)

I wasn't organized at all. I pretty much got members on a whim, so I had no time to prepare anyway. I still remember my first day of members...stood around for an hour or two just trying to decide what to do first :P

Perhaps they were listening in on our conversation :o I really like the gloves update. Before they looked like tiny stubs, it's a great change. As for the other armor, sure they look strange, but we should look forward to those new animations. We'll get used to the changes anyway :P

True friends are hard to come across, indeed! However, congratulations to both of you, as you gained from this one way or another :P This Dragon Chainbody frenzy is starting to tempt me into KQ trips again...so, Trojann! Give me a bit and I'll have the supplies necessary...if I don't go astray again. In the meantime I'll hope you attempt the Fight Caves...now all you need is the Fire Cape, and you'll be set! Don't feel rushed though, I still don't plan to play that much to really require Guthan's. Again, congratulations, and hope your luck continues!

Alright! No more missing events for me, I should hopefully be able to attend the upcoming events.

I don't quite remember the first attack of Jad the times I fought against him, but having range protect on first is ideal anyway. That way, if by chance you see his attack animation for the first attack, you have more time to react to either keep range protect on or switch to magic protect. However, it's impossible for me to assure anything since I haven't been to the Fight Caves after the attack range tweak. As far as other advice, just keep at it. Throughout the minigame, remain calm and collected so you're less prone to mistakes. Once you've experienced how Jad fights (first-hand, not just from videos) several times, you should have a clear strategy concerning the timing of prayer switching and how to multitask when the healers arrive. Once you've achieved that, the fight is actually quite easy.

Wow, I can't believe this. I merely thought his absence was due to his lack of interest in the game, which both of us were suffering from. I had no idea something so serious occurred, since I simply haven't been very active the past month. Shiva was always great to talk to; I was able to hold so many intelligent conversations with him. And now, I see that there was so much more I could have talked about - so much more about college and his area of study - which I'll be going into later this year. It's horrible to see such a good and intelligent person meet an unexpected and cruel fate. I'll always remember him, even though we hadn't actually met in real life (and I'm actually somewhat close to his location) and I hope he's found a better place.

I guess the hat only changes if you bought the item from the actual shop. I bought the Master's Wand and Mage's Book from other players, but my Progress Hat seems to remain the same as when I first received it :(

Well, if you plan to continue to accumulate points, Bones to Peaches will at least make the Graveyard part a lot easier :wink:

If you read my post you will see that the point is: 1) It's the alchemy room. 3) You can't take cash into the alchemy room. Therefore 2) 100 gp each is an incredibly EXPENSIVE price for nats. You said it was the enchantment room at first. Enchantment is cosmic runes. Get your facts straight. Obviously he meant the Alchemy room. No need to be harsh. I'll wait until people actually acquire the items until I either buy or train in the arena for them. The book looks the most appealing now, so I have my eyes set on that. As for the other items, I doubt I'd have much use for them.

Yeah, I also suggest using GUI. BreezySwing worked very well for me, that was all I used when I took the class while everybody else stuck to IO. It really makes the program easier to use.
