rancorousj
I'm a 20 days old f2p, but this guide is rubbish, I can tell.... I got 40 in crafting on my first day, and this is how I get it quick and smart. Lvl 1 - 28 or 40: Mine the north clay in Varrock SW mine, bank. Take 14 buckets, and 14 clays. Wet them in edgeville, bank the wet clay. Edgeville-> barbarian village, make the highest lvl thing you can, at lvl 8 you get bowls. Lvl 28 - 40: Kill cows :) .. good for newbie like me to raise a bit of combat. make hard leathers, you know how. Now crafting guild. I think the guild should be use in 3 methods. 1. Crafting + Combat exp 1a) want money -> sell at rimmington general store 1b) lose money + quicker exp -> drop 2. Only Crafting exp but gain and lose no money CLAY ! Very good exp there, and you can stay there for months (drop gems) 3. Mine ores Silver: Al Kharid mine is better, you can smelt on your way back and is nearer to bank, just one rock less Gold: Crafting Guild is good but it give poor crafting exp, but good money if you sell gold ores to members, whom will use them to gain 2nd fastest smithing exp per hour Summary: So.. basically your guide is not very useful, along with some major errors, for example: Tiaras do not sell for good money unless you think 10gp ea is good. Bring the mould is a waste of slot for you need to walk one more trip each 28/27 trips you do. Al Kharid Furnance is much closer than Faladors. Speed is more important than exp given, if you do other methods twice quicker, its pointless to care about 35exp or 52.5 EACH.

mark63534
Why do you say to put the tiara mould in your inventory? Because you don't have to pick it out your bank after you smelt your silver bars, unless you wanna do it the long way.Apparently, I didn't say it loud enough. Holding the tiara mould is the long way, because you are wasting that inventory spot every time you visit the guild. For the love of Guthix, it's not like I'm telling you to mine an inventory of silver, bank it, take it back out of the bank, and smelt it - that would make no sense! The faster way to go is to mine and bank several (dozen) inventories of ores without ever coming anywhere close to a smelter - you only "pick [the mould] out of your bank" once, and that's when you're in Al Kharid, and about to smelt and craft multiple inventories of ores. Honestly, you'd have the foresight to see that yourself if you actually had an impressive crafting level in the first place. Do you understand what you even just said right then?
