But when i went to mine granite 10 mins ago, i need to have waterskins to survive. Normally, you don't need to in the mining area. Is this a new update or just a glitch? Seeing as you are in the desert anyway it would seem fair that all the desert should be made hazardous. Unfortunatly for miners this is not a glitch/bug. Smithing/mining are like 10 times harder to level and you don't make much of a profit at all ye they hit mining with the nerf bat. Woodcutting is just click and forget. Some people train it because they want to have a higher mining...does it look good to have 85 mining or 1? Some think it's fun...it's their optionts, not yours. It is also a way to make supplies, if no one trains mining, who would you buy over 100k+ knives from to train your range? Mining/smithing plays a important role, some find it fun to click a million times. For wcing as you pointed that as a example, you just sit back...do nothing and wait until the tree drops.
