I have 88 woodcutting, dragon hatchet, and would like to get 99. What tree is the fastest experience, i do not care about cash made from doing this, just exp.

Burn. All of it. Never use maple to fletch.

burning gives more total xp (unless you string), and fm cape is more impressive. no money or advantages gained from it however

any one know how long it would take to cut 83k maples?

I would suggest that you time yourself for a few hours and see how many you get in a hour or how long it takes to get 1k. I'm guessing around 1 and half hours to 2 hours for you. Willows are like 1k a hour or so. So, with 1 and half a hour, you get 124.5 hours, a bit more since you won't know what will exactly happen (randoms, banking, laziness) 166 hours for 2 hours per 1k logs.

If you cut, south, if you burn, go FAR north, until you reach the area with a bridge. maples on both sides, you can choose which side to cut

Way up north near sinclair mansion (murder mystery quest). Bring a tinderbox. Cut, burn, cut burn ad nauseum.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It'll take a while, but you'll kill two birds with one stone, you don't lose time on the banking and it allieviates the monotomy.
