January 20, 200719 yr I burn about 8% to 10% monkfish at 80 cooking... I don't know if I'll ever stop; and I've been using gauntlets.
January 20, 200719 yr according to the Jagex KB you NEVER stop burning monks and Gauntlet do NOT help. But accoeding to players with 90+ cooking, you do not burn them anymore with gauntlets. Geaux Tigers ! Congrats on a great year !

January 20, 200719 yr I was over 90 cooking when the Swan Song quest was released. I have never burned a monkfish. And I used them to get from 95 at least to 99 cooking without gauntlets. Currently working on 99 smithing:
