Iggy's Guide to Tarn Razorlor's Lair (Includes Map) (WIP)

Featured Replies

You guide was very helpful, although I fell accidently several times(wasn't your fault, this guide was great). I had 3 monkfish left when I went to fight Tarn and I was sure I was going to have to teleport out. But what do you know? I only use one. Tarn is ridiculously easy.

Thanks for the guide again, I really wanted that slayer exp and a little adventure  . Also the new version of the amulet is nice. :)

By popular demand, this signature is back- however I currently do not have a blog up at the moment and if I did I wouldn't update it. Sorry, the sig links to nowhere :( .

To add onto the note of the book being shelvable, I think it's also possible for someone who has completed the Haunted Mine quest and have Salve Amulets, but had not completed the Lair to be able to get the book for themselves and enchanting their Salves.

Also: Thieveing would help for the traps as it is possible to not disarm them(thus damaging yourself) with 55 Thieving[i tried.]

A few questions:

Are the yellow dots on the map where monsters spawn? Does this mean that the areas with no yellow dots (or orange dots for skeleton mages) are "safe?" (disregarding traps)?

Will Protect from Melee be enough for all but the last chamber before Tarn where the skeleton mages are? Are there any skeleton mages in other places?

What happens if I miss a trap? Where do I end up, and how do I get to where I was?

Thanks for the simplified map, made it so much easier to see where I am going.

It took me a whole 15-20 minutes to get to him and kill him.

Only regret is bringing full invent of tuna potatoes, I did not use any food, since I was in full guthan. I would be heart broken if I had to drop or eat them to pick up drops.

I may go again to try and get a granite helm.

I just fought Tarn. As he turned into his giant form, I waited until the Terror Dogs had advanced on me, then I ran behind Tarn. He effectivly blocked all the other creatures from attacking me.
